nice surprise

after travelling to the u.s. i realized that my bank was not exactly helpful with making sure i can pay the hotel by the end of my stay... in fact they really sucked at topping up my cc limit and also at replying to my emails for a couple of days.

so, if you think about going to DKB - don't do that. their customer service is really not what you want to deal with.

well, finally i won the battle - got my credit card working again - and went shopping today!

status message

just wanted to say hello and that i arrived safely in the us. apart from a little struggle with my credit card everything is just perfect over here: sunny crisp californian weather and the most luxurious hotel i have ever stayed in: hotel valencia

they feature continental breakfast which is a grace after all that starbucks food during the last days. by the way i have learned a lot about the brand building of starbucks today. that was really interesting and worth the 13 hours of flight!

whoohooo... tomorrow im on my way to the headquarter in san jose, california. so, this weekend my colleage mat and me are going to check out san francisco - and maybe do some shopping .... on sunday. how cool is that.

things to do before you turn 30

this post is dedicated to mr. schnalze who is going to become a serious grown-up by friday :-)

hopefully you guys out there are busy getting really cool presents for mr. schnalze... and dont forget to hive off that obligatory "30" traffic sign from your favorite berlin street....

so, what is it that you think you really want to have done before your 30th birthday? (apparently nobody is reading my blog since i had nothing posted here for the last 12 months...) so i start:

start smoking
stop smoking
say "i love you" and really mean it
find out what you wanna do for a living
find out whether you get seasick or not
live in a shared flat
live in your own flat
find out whats you favorite country to live in
say "im sorry" and really mean it
spend more money than you earn
earn more money than you spend
do something that really freaks you out, like skydiving
do something that really makes you feel good, like volunteer for a project
do something that really hurts, like getting a tattoo on your lip
find out at least 1 thing thats matters to you
